Exhibit: "Entre Los Sueños y La Abstracción" by Víctor Hugo Valenzuela




La Antigua Galería de Arte presents "Entre Los Sueños y La Abstracción" a one man exhibit by Guatemalan artist Víctor Hugo Valenzuela.   The exhibit gathers two styles of paintings the artist is very well known for. The main theme of one of the collections is women: women that seem to seek the light or revere the moon. Dressed in long and colorful outfits they dance, chat and share under the influence of a light and dark habitat full of drama. 
The collection of abstract works, on the other hand, are compositions that sprout from deep introspection. Some works clearly represent knots, some seem to totems, woven fabric or Mayan shields of the classical period. Feel free to interpret to your own desire, the proposal has been made to our eyes!
